A charming bungalow on Harbor Hill Drive, Safety Harbor

Located on Grand Central Ave in Safety Harbor, this a fascinating piece of more modern architecture, tucked away in a woodsy setting. Not surprisingly, the owner is an architect!

Once upon a time, The Bunker on 19th St. Ybor City, served as a popular community hub for the multitude of immigrants coming into the Tampa area. It was recently renovated and is now a trendy restaurant. I can attest that it has great food too!

A newer house on W. Sylvan Ramble St, Tampa that I selected because of its sense of old world charm.

This welcoming shot-gun bungalow on S. Druid is one of the first homes built in the historic Harbor Oaks district.

The Old Clearwater Bay neighborhood is another historic area of the city that I was drawn to. This Dutch Colonial Craftsman caught my eye on Engman St.

Right off Edgewater Drive, tucked away on Sedeeva St I found this attractive Craftsman home.

This lovely home on Bay Esplanade, Clearwater Beach, unfortunately fell victim to “progress” and was recently torn down. The family who had owned it for decades commissioned be to do this painting to capture their happy family memories in this portrait.

Although not as old as many of the homes featured in this article, this delightful Ranch home on Indigo Dr caught my eye. So much care went into its renovation. Not surprisingly, Mr. Peacock now makes his home there, which I why I had to include him.
